Michael R. Pardede started his career at LBH Mawar Saron from 2003 – 2007. After that, he worked at the Law Office Ruhut Sitompul Associate from 2008 – present. As a partner at Irawan Arthen & Partners Law Firm, he often handles several cases : civil, commercial and criminal.
The criminal case that was in the public highlight, which he once handled was the suspect GSA, the son of a bakery entrepreneur who allegedly abused DAD. Beside that, he also accompanied artist Pasha Ungu who was accused of abusing Okie.

Perkara pidana yang menjadi sorotan publik, yang pernah ditanganinya adalah tersangka GSA, anak pengusaha toko roti yang yang diduga menganiaya DAD. Selain itu ia juga pernah mendampingi artis Pasha Ungu yang dituduh menganiaya Okie.
